Method 1: Check Your Friend List
This is one of the easiest ways to check if you have been unfriended on Snapchat. By checking your friends, if the person in question doesn’t appear on your friend list, then you might have been Unadded by such person.
Check if a person is on your friend list can be done using the following step:
- Step 1: Open the Snapchat app
- Step 2: Tap on your profile picture, at the top left corner of the screen
- Step 3: Scroll down and select My Friends. Once you select the My Friends option under the Friends category, your friend’s list would be displayed
- Step 4: In the search bar, type in the person’s name, if the results show No results then you might have been removed from their friends’ list.
Method 2: Check Your Snap Status.
This is another sure way to check if you have been removed by someone on Snapchat. Whenever you are unfriended by someone you are removed from their list, but they will still be visible on Snapchat.
When someone unfriends you, that doesn’t mean that you can’t add them or send them a snap message, but your message to them will only be successful after they have accepted your friend request.
The snap status will always show Pending if you are sending a snap to someone that isn’t on your friend list.
Therefore, to check if a person has unfriended you or not, whenever you send a snap to this person, and there is a Pending status beneath the post, then you have been unfriended by such person.
Let me give a practical example, let’s say John Doe was once your friend on Snapchat. On a particular day you sent John Doe a message and beneath the message shows a pending caption. That means you have been unfriended by John doe.
Therefore, to get your message sent successfully to John Doe, you have to become a friend back with John Doe, if he accepts your friend request, the pending status will be removed.

Snap scores are scores that show how often a person uses Snapchat, and as well, it’s determined by the total number of snaps a person has sent and received.
The snap score is another way to check if you have been Unadded by someone on Snapchat, If you can’t see a person’s Snap score from your account, this certainly means that you have been Unadded by such person.

When your friends on Snapchat post a new story, it will be displayed under the friends’ section of the Story, but if you have been unfriended by such a person the Story will appear under the subscription section.

- Step 4: In the Search bar, type in the person’s name, if the results show No results then you might have been removed from their friend’s list.

When you unfriend someone on Snapchat, such a person will not be able to send you a message or view your status as well as view your snap scores.
If they subscribed to your profile, your stories will appear under the subscription section on their account.
